Created during lockdown, the subject of this quilt centers on the COVID-19 pandemic as a global, shared experience that profoundly altered our daily lives. I sought to express this abrupt shift; the shapes and colors were chosen to reflect the relative calm of the “before times” versus the chaos, loss of life and basic freedoms in the “after”.
