Fire & Ice, 2023

Fire & Ice is an exploration of contrasting colors, built on the foundation of log cabin blocks. The quilt is pieced improvisationally in two distinct color schemes—cool blues and fiery reds—creating a dynamic collision between these disparate colors. I explored the possibility that these two colors could meet up harmoniously.
