Red, White and Blue Remix takes a simple motif of four organic lines, varied and repeated. I limited the color palette to blue and white to emphasize the flow of the lines, allowing their rhythm and movement to take center stage. The red units, introduced later in the design process, infused the quilt with a burst of vibrancy I felt it lacked, creating a dynamic balance between the calmness of the blue and the energy of the red.
