Super Bloom is the first in a series inspired by the traditional Drunkard’s Path block, reimagined in a modern, abstract design. The shapes were freehand cut, without a ruler, using a mix of hand-dyed and handprinted fabric. Completed during California’s wildflower Super Bloom, the quilt references the vibrancy and fleeting beauty of this natural phenomenon.
